| dc.description.abstract | The state of Oklahoma was recently named as the number one state for the highest incarceration rates in the country. This study is going to look into some of the effects of this fact. Oklahoma’s incarceration rate is not comparable to its crime rate, so this study will also analyze what is instead causing the large number of inmates. Finally, it will look into what is being done to attack this issue in the state of Oklahoma. | |
