| dc.description.abstract | In a time when gender equality is such a prevalent topic of discussion in our country. Also, in a time when the “#MeToo” movement is such an important and big part of the conversation. Women are questioning whether there is equality in our legal system. In my research I plan to look at different cases in the U.S,. and compare numbers found in this research. In conclusion, I plan to compare these numbers and cases and decide whether there is really gender equality in our legal system. Whether women are equally represented and equally heard in their trials. I don’t plan to focus on outcomes of these trials just whether or not men and women are receiving the same treatment in their trials. | |
