Bringing Patron Services into the Technology Age

Abstract

With the fast paced advances in technology, many library patron services can be enhanced using both old and new technology. You can re-purpose outdated technology such as 1st generation iPads into wayfinding maps. Despite advances, many of our students do not have access to existing technologies such as a computer, but also need to learn about new and emerging technologies. This presentation covers these areas as they relate to libraries.
