dc.description.abstractPeer mentor programs increase participants’ academic success, campus involvement, class engagement, and career outcomes compared to students who are not involved in peer mentor programs. Peer mentoring assists students transitioning into their major, graduate school, and the workforce; enhances participants’ professional and personal skills; and contributes to increased retention rates.
